
Google has officially announced that it will be expanding shopping ads and many new features will be introduced by the company that will help the advertisers in targeting users from all over the world.
The Google ads are now available in 50 new markets, which means the total number of the market has now increased to 95.
As the number of the market has increased, Google is planning to roll out some new features so that the advertisers can take better advantage of the new markets that are available to them. Here are some of the features that Google is rolling out:
1. Multi-Country Feeds
With the multi-country feeds, it is possible for the advertisers to reach shoppers from more than one country at the same time with the same feeds. The new features known as multi-country feeds will allow the advertisers to use the same feeds for multiple countries of the same language.
To understand this, let’s suppose, you have uploaded information regarding one of your products in the English language for a particular country, then with the multi-country feeds, you will be able to use the same information for other English speaking countries.
To ensure that the ads are only shown to the shoppers who can buy the products, the advertisers have to set their own shipping and location for targeting the multi-country feeds. In this way, the ads will not be shown to the people of the location where the product cannot be delivered.
2. Automated Feeds
Google has rolled out new automated feeds which will allow the advertisers to create the feed of their product more easily. Using this automated feeds features, it will be easier for the advertisers to send their data to Google, which in turn will help them to reach more customers easily.
This new feature allows the Google Merchant Center to crawl the latest information about the product in a structured way.
3. New Merchant Center Experience
Some of the features such as additional insights, easier navigation, and more straightforward workflows have been updated in the Google Merchant Center. The new interface has a lot of benefits and it will allow them to manage their product in a better way. Using this new interface which is more user-friendly and informative, the advertisers will be able to promote and sell their products in a more efficient way.
4. Surfaces across Google
The advertisers can also opt-in for the surfaces across Google through the new interface of the Merchant Center. The surface across Google is a feature that allows the advertisers to show their product in rich snippet and the product annotation in the Google Images can be shown for free.
Although this feature is currently available only in the US and India, it will soon be available in many other countries. Google has announced that by the end of the year, many more countries will be able to use these features to advertise their products.
